Take 2 of riding through cranberries.

A few photos from the latest Winch Sessions road trip with, Adam Buck, Yan Lecomte, Brian Grubb, and Ben Horan.  We traveled from Minneapolis to Cincinnati, searching out water ways, spill ways, dams, rivers, and more.

2 weekends of riding in a row in March, that doesn’t happen in MN.

With the un-seasonably warm temperatures this month, we were able to get out and get some early season wake sessions in.  Not a bad start to the year, considering it’s the end of March.

Recently, Steve Janisch, Adam Buck and myself accomplished a 3 year mission to capture one specific shot.  It only took 15 seconds to get the shot, and that was that.  3 years of work payed off!  Footage and story to come soon enough.

A post shot interview and a giant carton of arnold palmer to celebrate.

From October 2011 to January 2012 a music video was collaboratively made for the song “Became” by Atmosphere. The goal was to create an engaging educational experience with students as the focal point.

It took over a year, but the Cranberry episode from Winch Sessions recently reached 1 million views.

It has been a while since I’ve done any aerial shoots, felt good to get back into a helicopter.  This was for the Nature Conservancy down in southern Minnesota.  Great light made for some awesome shots.

Its been a while since I’ve posted any updates.  I recently returned from Port Au Prince, Haiti.  I was there for 2 weeks shooting for the Colline Foundation.  The trip was great and I captured some amazing images.  Stills for now, video soon.
